  1. Minutes from the November 14, 2005 meeting were approved as corrected.

  1. Treasurer’s Report:  We have 632 annual members and 314 lifetime members for a total membership of 946.  Current assets for the Association are $20,398.94.  The Scholarship Fund balance is $4,150.  Gene Flippen Project has a balance of $303.54.  Actual assets are $15,945.40.  The Oregon Community Foundation balance as of September 2005 is $146,441.79.

  1. Principal’s Report:  Paul Cook reported that there will be a new band teacher as of January 3, 2006.  The instructor will be at Hosford half time and Cleveland half time.  The band parents are organizing a Performing Arts Booster Club.  The winter band concert is on Tuesday, December 13 at 7 p.m. and the choir concert is December 15 at 7 p.m.  The basketball teams play Franklin on Friday, the 16th of December.

The student numbers are projected to shrink for the Cleveland attendance area over the next ten years.  However, the enrollments are expected to increase because of the program offerings at Cleveland High School.  Students may come to Cleveland from other attendance because of their interest in Cleveland offerings.

The Paddle Bids at the Auction will go toward the Foundation and to raise money for a sound system for the auditorium and gym.

There is discussion about starting a youth football program for the Cleveland attendance area.  Hopefully, this will help “jump start” other youth program for the area.
