At the May luncheon, there will be two fund raising opportunities—a raffle and the sale of donated “Ledgers” from Commerce High School. At the next Scholarship meeting, they will be setting up interview teams for the scholarship interviews.
Nadine Livingston reported that the Alumni Picnic will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Oaks Park, Area 1. An admission fee is being discussed. The area will be available from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. This is a fund raiser for scholarships. Information on the picnic will be in future newsletters.

Boosters—Dave Voll reported that at the half-time of the Boys’ Basketball game on February 17, 2006, the Cleveland High School Hall of Fame inductees will be presented. The following people will be inducted: Keith Forman ’59, Dwight Umbarger ’53, Margie Hoth Lyons ’57, and Mark Gronvold ’77. Merit awards will be presented to Ken Poorman ’57 and Dwight Jaynes ’65. Preceding the game at 6 PM, there will be a reception in the main hall to honor these people.
A motion was made and seconded to pay $687 to Trophies Unlimited as CCHSAA’s share of the cost for this year’s trophies for the Hall of Fame and Merit Awards. Motioned passed. This action was approved for this year only.
