4.       Topics of Discussion and Updates:

Alumni Newspaper:  Dennis Maloney requested that articles are due by October 12.  The newspaper will be mailed during the first part of November.

Spring Luncheon:  Karen Genzer reminded us that the luncheon will be held at the Monarch Hotel on May 22, 2008 at noon.

2008 Alumni Picnic:  No report

5.       Old Business:

Distinguished Alumni Award:  Jean Miller expressed a concern about setting a precedent where the Alumni Association picks up the expenses for the individuals selected for this award.  The feeling is that this is to honor the individuals as well as an opportunity to give Cleveland students a chance to see the successful accomplishment of former students.

  1. New Business:

Computer Class Expenditure:  A motion was made to give Paul Cook $3,000 to be given to the Computer Department for computer programs.  The motion was seconded and passed.

  1. Next Meeting:

Executive Committee Meeting will be Monday, November 12, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in Alumni Room.

Board of Directors’ Meeting will be Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Cleveland High School Library.

We adjourned at 1:10 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
