  1. Treasurer’s Report:  Pat Dannen reported that we have 625 annual members and 313 lifetime members for a total membership of 938.  Current assets for the Association are $38,135.88.  The Scholarship Fund balance is $6,931.66.  Field Project has a net balance of $158.55.  CCHSAA Golf Tournament has a balance of $18,135.88.  The CHS/FHS Golf Tournament has a balance of $316.77.  Actual assets are $12,596.49.  The Oregon Community Foundation balance as of June 2006 is $159,234.87.  Pat indicated that she will be sending $4,000 from the Scholarship Fund to the Oregon Community Foundation.  She will also be sending $11,250 to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club to complete payment for the 2006 Golf Tournament.

  1. Principal’s Report:  The report given at the Executive Board meeting on 9/18/2006 was reviewed.  Please refer to the Executive Board minutes for details.

  1. Committee Reports:

Budget/Finance—None

Membership—Dave Voll reported that there are 100 non-renewals at this time.  2005 members who have not renewed will be carried until the end of 2006.  The 2004 non-renewals will be dropped from the rolls prior to the fall newsletter.  Since the Association dues are the only working capital for the Association, ideas are being discussed to increase membership.

Scholarship—Karen Genzer reported that the Alumni Luncheon for 2007 will be on May 24 at the Monarch Restaurant.  There will be a raffle with the proceeds going toward scholarships.  We are still planning on four $2,000 scholarships for 2007.

Communications—Odis Avritt reported that it is important to contact Bryce Rickson in e-mail format for getting things posted on the CCHSAA website.  We are looking for a communication liaison volunteer to work with the community newspapers in the area.  Just a quick reminder, the website for CCHSAA is www.chsalum.com.

Golf— Ted Amato reported that we will net approximately $7,000 for the students at Cleveland High School.  This is below the desired total.  We will have a possible venue change for the 2007 tournament.  We are looking for ways to increase the revenue from the tournament.  The barbecue/auction at Oaks Park the night prior to the tournament was a big success.  Since this is the Association’s biggest fund raiser, we need to find additional ways to make the golf tournament more financially successful.

Group Reports

PTA—Since the PTA has not met, Kari Freeman indicated that there was no report.

Boosters—Since the Booster Club has not met, Dave Voll indicated that there was no report.

Board Development—Dave Voll reported that we would like fill five available positions on the Board of Directors emphasizing individuals from the 70’s and 80’s.
